Lisa was born and raised in Billings, Montana. She is the oldest of five children.
Lisa moved to Berkeley in 1988 to finish her B.A. in English and Philosophy at U.C. Berkeley.
She moved to Minneapolis in 1990 and graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1993.
Lisa returned to California and has practiced civil litigation in Northern California since then. Presently, she works part-time for firm that specializes in insurance coverage litigation.
Lisa has a son who is in third grade and a daughter in second grade. She shares custody with her ex-husband, who lives in the Oakland Hills. Lisa remarried on 07-07-07 in Las Vegas and lives in Danville with her husband and children.
Lisa loves to travel with family. Outside the U.S., she has travelled with her children to Paris, Costa Rica, Mexico and parts of the Caribbean. She travelled with her brother to Greece and with her sister to Belize. In August, she will be traveling to Barcelona, France and Italy with her husband.
Lisa is a part-time first trimester student at AIMC.
